Basic or more in-depth information, the choice is yours: just a light touch of the screen and the user can switch between the two displays, with intuitive graphics making for fast, user-friendly browsing. Based on a Linux platform, all functions are managed by a powerful microprocessor that also offers plenty of scope for future expansion. The instrument control panel lets the user apply personalised settings for each instrument; it also allows cycle times to be set and integrated hygiene system device parameters to be checked via dedicated displays. Select optic fibre intensity, set foot control and instrument spray modes, personalise and control automatic disinfection procedures: with the Full Touch display, it’s all so simple.

Practicality is enhanced even further by the possibility of displaying X-ray images directly on the glass screen of the instrument control panel. An endodontic drill bit parameter selection database is also available; the relative work settings can also be saved on a USB memory stick. The accelerometer on the instrument control panel allows the screen to be positioned horizontally or vertically as desired. As standard on S320TR dental units, optional on the S300 S280TRc.
